A film with purpose and thought provoking on by music director turned director Renukumar ‘Shabdamani’ has been given ‘U’ certificate by the regional censor board. The film produced by Smt Chandravathi is based on a war backdrop in which Jnanapeeth Award winner Dr Girish Karnad and Shruthi the popular actress of over 100 films head the star cast.

Renukumar has penned the story, screenplay also for the film. He has plans to release the film in the month of May. Srinivas is the cameraman and Shyam Shimoga has penned the dialogues. The music is scored by Renukumar for the lyrics of Ramnarayan. Renukumar has also penned an important song.

One of the songs in the film a patriotic one is also getting ready in the video album format in different languages of the country says Renukumar.

Sushma, Sankesh Kashi, Mohan Juneja, Master Shithil Somanna, Vijayasarathy, Nisha Iyer Harirayappa and others are in the cast.
